I took over an allotment plot in London in March 2021 without having much prior gardening experience or any other experience with plant growth. However, I was able to gradually turn my newly purchased green space into a garden that produced an abundance of produce for my family.
I constantly try to make sure that the food that my family eats hasn't been tainted by artificial fertilisers, pesticides, or herbicides. This is what drew me to allotments since, in my opinion, gardening on one really does allow you to become entirely organic and understand where your food originates from.
I must admit, though, that not everything has gone smoothly; there have been many tears of sweat and blood spent. However, I'm eager to share my knowledge, my successes, and my failures with others. I see it this way: I've already made the mistakes, so you don't have to!
